Elachista subalbidella is a moth of the Elachistidae family. It is found from Fennoscandia and northern Russia to Italy and Greece and from Ireland to Romania. It is also found in North America.
The wingspan is 10-13 mm. Adults are on wing in June.
The larvae mainly feed on Molinia caerulea, but have also been recorded on Arrhenatherum, Brachypodium pinnatum, Brachypodium sylvaticum, Calamagrostis arundinacea, Carex, Melica and Poa. They create a long narrow mine in the blade.
